Perhaps rather than talking of “truer” here and setting one set of concerns or measurements against others, we might see these indicators as providing us with a richer, more diverse, and more nuanced articulation of excellent scholarship that also includes indicators associated with publication (among others). Metrics associated with syllabi would then be seen as import indicators within an ecosystem of #humetrics that signify an enriching scholarly life.
